This class is an exciting partnership with the Eugene Symphony.
This class will create opportunities to explore the ways music and visual arts can mutually interact with and inspire one another. Participants will have the opportunity to play music and learn about beat, tempo, rhythm, and volume. We will talk about how this can translate into visual arts elements such as color, line, stroke, and composition. Create artwork while listing to music (both live and recorded) and work towards a special exhibition at the Lincoln Gallery and Hult Center in celebration of art, music, and Eugene Symphony resident composer Augusta Read Thomas.
