Art Therapy Workshop for Self-Care
Would you like to decrease stress and invite more calm into your life? Art therapy can help! Learn ways to use art to manage stress, decrease anxiety and promote relaxation.
No art experience is necessary!
Participants of this workshop will be offered thematic suggested activities to inspire the creative process, promote joy and encourage relaxation. Various media will be used.
How are art therapy workshops different?
Art therapy workshops are designed to provide participants with the opportunity to focus on the art making process as well as the product; unlike a “product” driven art class, which primarily focuses on the formal elements of art and skill building.

Art Therapist of Art with Grace Counseling, LLC
Hello, my name is Grace Fletcher. I completed my graduate studies in art therapy/counseling at Southwestern College in New Mexico. I am a pre-licensed art therapist working in Eugene, Oregon.
Being an art therapist, I believe the use of art in therapy can enhance the process. The opportunity to communicate concerns, challenging experiences and/or feelings through creative expression can lead to awareness and insight traditional talk therapy may not reveal. No artistic ability is necessary for art therapy!
The inclusion of art within therapy sessions is entirely up to the client and something that can be discussed at any point during the therapeutic process. I also offer traditional talk therapy.
