Alicia Febus

Picture
Biography

Alicia Febus (b. 1988) enjoys working in many different art forms but most frequently she is seen drawing with marker on large sheets of paper. She draws figures, sometimes people and sometimes mermaids, in her own recognizable style of line work. Around a small face, a series of lines create arms, legs, and feet, but most noticeable are the lines upon lines that create large and playful hairstyles - sometimes filling the entire canvas.

Febus is open to trying new art forms and has experimented with fabric arts, ceramics, photography, and jewelry making. She loves to cook and has become well-versed in American Sign Language. This skill has helped her to communicate with one of her best friends and housemates who is deaf. When she's not having fun with her friends, she works part-time at the Pearl Day Spa.

Febus started taking classes at the OSLP Arts & Culture Program in the fall of 2013.
