Biography

George Diehm (b. 1964), who goes by the name Chip, was born in Bethesda, Maryland and grew up in Ohio and Portland before moving to Eugene. He is a painter who sometimes breaks to create a sculpture out of clay or found materials.

He primarily works with acrylic, watercolor, and markers, together creating lovely abstract designs that resemble glowing, compelling landscapes. He uses bright and contrasting colors and enjoys the creative process.

His other areas of interest include bowling and eating. Diehm started taking classes at the OSLP Arts & Culture Program it was established in the fall of 2012.
